Vacancies

We are pleased that you are interested in a post at our school and hope that you will apply. King Edward VI Five Ways School has a distinguished history. For over 130 years we have been educating children in Birmingham and beyond. We have always been at the leading edge of educational progress yet always conscious of its historic roots and traditions.

Today we are the largest co-educational state selective school in the West Midlands and in the top group of co-ed. schools nationally. We pride ourselves on the young adults who leave us prepared academically, but more importantly, possessing the skills and confidence to take their place as adults in the twenty-first century.

As Ofsted recognised, at the heart of this success are the staff who work here and their contributions both inside and out of the classroom. We provide outstanding facilities in which to teach, the opportunity for all our staff to teach to the highest levels and the expectation of involvement in extracurricular activities. We will give you first class CPD, opportunities for foreign travel at little or no cost to yourself, classroom experiences where you can deliver your subject and develop to the highest level and a job satisfaction second to none in a vibrant and busy environment.

Our current staff and students are outstanding and we want outstanding people to join us. We work and play very hard and focus on success at all levels. Our standards are very high, but the rewards are immense.

We look forward to receiving your application.
