Pi Day 2025 – A Record-Breaking Celebration!

Today, we celebrated Pi Day in true KEFW style, and what an incredible day it was! Students put their memory skills to the test, reciting as many digits of pi as they could, with a new school record set in the process! 🔢 Last year’s winner reached over 100 digits, but this time, we saw an even more impressive feat with a student reaching over 500 digits .

Meanwhile, the Pi Day Pi K saw students and staff take to the back field in a fantastic show of energy and enthusiasm, pushing themselves to complete the course within 45 minutes to earn their participation medals. 🏅 It was amazing to see so many runners, supporters, and staff getting involved!

Of course it wouldn’t be Pi Day without pies, and we certainly handed out a record-breaking number this year! 🥧 Students who successfully recited the first 20 digits of pi in R2 at lunchtime earned themselves a well-deserved treat.
